About the role
We are hiring a Software Engineer to play a key role in ensuring the ticketing platform remains efficient, performant, and scalable. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate within a product squad to drive technical stability and deliver key business outcomes through the continuous refinement of the platform.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to develop product solutions that enhance the user experience while supporting financial objectives.
- Design and implement technical innovations that improve the functionality, performance, and efficiency of the ticketing systems.
- Identify and explore opportunities to integrate GenAI, enhancing platform capabilities and optimizing business processes.
- Maximize the value of recent data infrastructure investments, ensuring the platform achieves optimal performance and scalability.
- Strengthen platform observability, enabling proactive performance monitoring and minimizing downtime.
- Continuously review and optimize platform integrations to meet scalability targets and ensure operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Work within a high-traffic e-commerce environment, ensuring systems remain stable, scalable, and high-performing
- Design and build internal and external APIs with a strong focus on scalability, clarity, and maintainability
- Perform performance profiling and optimization, including designing efficient MySQL queries and handling transactions, particularly for bulk operations
- Manage database access and entities using ORMs such as Hibernate
- Apply data engineering principles to build, refine, and maintain robust data workflows and structures
- Integrate GenAI capabilities into systems and developer workflows to enhance efficiency and innovation
- Promote and maintain observability, applying best practices and design patterns to ensure system reliability and clean architecture
- Write simple, comprehensible, and maintainable code that supports long-term quality and scalability
- Collaborate closely with other engineers, contributing to team problem-solving and shared technical decisions
- Engage in a dynamic start-up environment, taking on new responsibilities and growing as the organization scales
